Fall & Winter Skincare Routine
My skin has never been this clear for a while now and it's all thanks to a skincare routine that finally works with my skin. I've realised that my skin actually needed more moisture, so I started using different products and have finally come up with these products that are perfect for my skin! I've tried soooo many products before this skincare routine and I'm so glad I finally found a routine that works so well with my skin! Just a disclaimer, I have normal to dry skin and it gets a lot more dry during the fall and winter so many of these products are great st giving you that extra boost of moisture.
This cleanser is the most mild cleanser ever but it gets off the rest of my makeup after my makeup remover. It doesn't strip my skin and it leaves it very supple and moisturising. This is great for sensitive skin and is made of 95% natural ingredients and my skin loves it!
I bought this at a warehouse sale and it just happens to be the toner I'm using at the moment. I'm not too fussy about the toner to use but I have found that this toner does a great job st restoring the oh in my skin. A great drugstore alternative would be the Simple facial toner. I find that as long as your toner works to balance out you skin, it's not the most important part of your routine.
This is a facial oil and I know it's scary to think about putting oil on your face but this is the thing that changed my skin! I only use this during the nighttime so that my skin has time to soak in all the wonderful oils. My skin feels like a baby's butt when I wake up and it feels so plump and moisturized. It is more of a splurge product, but it really is worth it especially during the winter time!
Moisturizer: Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream
This facial cream is the best facial cream ever! It moisturizes my face without making it feeling oily. It's a great daytime moisturizer as well. I found that once I started using this moisturizer with the facial oil above, the dry patches on my skin have disappeared. It is on the higher end of the price range, but very much worth the money.
Sleeping Mask: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
This is one of the sleeping masks that I use about once a week. I usually put my serum before I put this on for an extra pump of moisture. All you do is apply this like moisturizer at night and wash your face in the morning when you wake up. Your skin will feel so plump and moisturized.
Sleeping Mask: The Face Shop Raspberry Roots Sleeping Mask
This mask is definitely a dupe for the Laneige Water Sleeping mask that I mentioned above. If you don't want to spend $30 on a sleeping mask, this is the one to go for! It retails for under $20 and actually has more product than the Lineage one. My skin feels very similar after I use the both of them so I usually just swap between them every few days. Switching these masks every few days really helps keep my skin moisturized, but not oily at all. It also helps with my dry spots!
